1978 International Scout

Cool Classic Rides, Dealer #DA8690 is excited to offer another classic with this absolutely stunning, original, untouched and unrestored 1978 International Scout II 4x4. Owned by Ernie Bizio of the very famous Bizio Motors in Portland, Oregon. Bizio ran the longest running Scout Dealership in the world (look him up online for more information). This beautiful Scout has been owned by Mr Bizio and his family since the day it hit his lot. This is quite possibly the finest original truck I have ever seen. Powered by a strong V8 engine and automatic transmission, this truck truly drives down the road like a new car. No squeaks, no rattles, no noise. The body is near perfect with only a few minor imperfections. The original stickers show some cracking but are all intact. The original bumpers, grill and trim are all absolutely amazing. The original top is also near perfect and the original hubcaps and rims are also great. The original wood grain in the roof rack looks great. According to the original owner, the top has never been off. So we chose not to remove it for pictures. Now let’s open the doors and look inside. This is, in my opinion, the most perfect original interior I have ever seen in any forty five year old vehicle. The door panels, seats, carpet, dash , front to back headliner and rear panels all look like the day this truck came off the lot. The wood grain dash is near perfect. Every gauge works, the radio works, dash lights work too. I personally believe this Scout belongs in a museum. I can go on about this truck all day long but very simply put, if you are looking for an incredible vintage SUV and a great investment, I would look no further. This is the finest example of an International Scout II that I have ever seen. When its’ gone, you will never find another one like it, I am certain of that.
