Produced between 1976-1980, the Traveler model was 18 inches longer in the back and featured a fully removable, fiberglass top with a hatchback style liftgate. This Scout has a 304 V8 and runs and drives excellent with power steering, power brakes and it’s even an original factory AC truck (missing compressor). We went all out in updating this awesome ride. We sprayed a fresh, beautiful coat of brand new, factory correct paint. It has a brand new Rallye stripe as well as brand new wheels and tires. The body on this Scout is in amazing condition too. The interior is no different. With brand new carpet from front to back and a fresh coat of paint to match the exterior, this truck really cleaned up nicely. The seats are all 100% original and look really nice. As mentioned earlier, the top is fully removable, so you can cruise through summer topless. With the additional 18” of space, you will have plenty of room to load up the whole family and all of their things, for your next adventure. This is a seriously cool off road, adventure vehicle that can also double as a road tripper, which is rare. Speaking of rare, these Scout Traveler 4x4’s are very rare and are difficult to find, especially in this clean of condition.
